Default Looking for 7100 and 7290 owners with BT GPS antenna's

Please Login to Remove!

Dear all,

My name is Araaf Razab-Sekh, CEO of RSIC from the Netherlands. We are currently developing a new product for Bluetooth enabled BlackBerries, generally speaking these should be all 7290 and 7100 models.

The product is called B(4) (B-to-the-fourth) and works with Bluetooth GPS antenna's that are NMEA compatible. We and have been very succesful with tests and implementation for the local situation (we are based in Holland), using 7100's and Emtac Crux II BT GPS antenna's, but we need to find out how the product is behaving in other countries, with different BlackBerry models and with different Bluetooth GPS antenna's.

You can read more about the product here:

http://www.rsic.nl/blackberry/RSIC_B4_product_sheet.pdf

That is why we are looking for 10 testers that own a Bluetooth enabled BlackBerry and a NMEA compatible Bluetooth GPS receiver and would like to run some tests with us. Your reward will be a free copy of either BerryVine Messenger, BerryVine Sweeper or the finished generic B(4) application. If you wish to participate and are in fact owner of a BlackBerry with Bluetooth and a Bluetooth GPS antenna (preferably not an Emtac Crux II ), please send me a message! Many thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Araaf

Default BT Tester

Dear Araaf

I live in Valencia (Spain) and I have a bb7100v and a Parrot CK3500 Hands free unit with Bluetooth gps built in at my car. I currently use a Dell Axim X5 and TomTom 3 via Bluetooth with this GPS whit no problem at all.

I would like to test your B(4).

Yours sincerously

I've got a 7100x on O2 UK & TFAC BT GPS. Would certainly like to help if I can.

Application looks interesting - could be really useful for my mileage claims when I'm driving for work.

Bluetooth GPS capability could be a pretty cool idea.

I've moved this thread to the Aftermarket area, since this may get more attention here by interested testers;

I'm running a BB 7290 on Rogers with OS 4.0, and have a basic model EMTAC BT GPS receiver that I had previously used with my Palm Tungsten T3 for the past year. Since I'm not using the T3 anymore, GPS capability is one of the things I miss with my transition to a Blackberry.

I would be very interested in testing this software and/or assisting in any other way that I can.
