Not necessary but very handy. If I'm stading in line to order, I usually have my BlackBerry out anyway, so it's easy just to use the barcode in the app to pay.

I grabbed it for my 9930 and it works. Previously it was not downloadable as (they claimed) os7 was not supported.

Before this I had the Starbucks Card app on my HTC Evo 4G. I put the barcode up on the Evo's screen and used my BlackBerry to take a picture of it. Just opening the picture of the barcode on my BlackBerry worked perfectly for payment. I didn't get the other features of the real app, but then I didn't much use them anyway. I'm set up for auto-relaod and I get a confirm email with each reload.
