for about a week now ive been having a lot of trouble with my facebook and googlemaps.

the facebook app just keep says that it "cannot connect to server"

and the googlemaps is always looking for satellites.

ive had my phone for about a year now and it has always worked GREAT but recently its been really bad!

anyone else been having these issues? i think its only been for a week or two...

btw, im on verizon.

Facebook is having issues. Try snaptu.
As far as Google Maps, I had issues with most recent version with my 9630 and 9650. Does BB Maps work properly for you?

Facebook should be working now, BlackBerry fixed the issue yesterday

Same problem. Searched for 2 days but fixed it. Go to options, applications and uninstall (delete) facebook don't restart. Next go to options, advanced options, service book and delete anything that says facebook. Delete Ippp for 5 click nothing else! Exit options then pull your battery, leave battery out for 15 sec or so then install battery. Once its restarted go to blackberry.com/facebook and install facebook and log in. Worked for me.Hope this helps.
