We shouldn't have to dumb down our devices in order to get battery life that is at least on par with a previous model........someone in R&D was snoozing during the battery life sessions.

Do you just enJOY replying to posts that are just a "waste of time?" What does that make your post? Give it a rest.....I'm just trying to make a point.

Lol...and I didn't help you on your "car charger" thread question?..I'm the only one that replied...look don't get mad, its just a forum, and I don't know how u could tell my attitude by written words (and don't sell I can't tell urs cuz u clearly quoted "joy" to prove something.) Chilax, its no big deal...but hey sorry if I offended thee.

I'm pretty happy with my battery life. I have the backlight set to 30%, Bluetooth off, and network set to IXEV. Took it off the charger last night around 9pm. After pushing my emails (over 200), texts and FB notifications, sending a few tweets, doing a couple downloads and some web surfing, checking FB, reading said emails and my weather app updating every 30 minutes, it was at 40% when I put it back on the charger an hour ago (24hrs later). Granted I didn't make or receive any phone calls but I'm still happy with my battery life.

I did buy an extra battery-2 actually. I got two OEM batteries and a battery charger from Ebay for $15. Might be too good to be true but at that price it won't hurt if it is!

My battery life has been extended quite a noticeable amount with my backlight at 10% and screen dim at 20secs, I am very impressed with the battery life now.

I had great results over the weekend - light usage and some phone and had 50% after being off the charger for 18 hours. However, it completely drained in about 5 hours with Bluetooth on, and unpaired. It could be a software issue with the way Bluetooth is constantly searching for devices. It's worth a try to anyone having serious battery problems. I am going to keep my BT off for the next few days except when actively using it, and let you know how it goes.

Well, GPS, Vibration, Backlight, Auto On-Off, Dim Time. Nice suggestion you have.
I've tried that to my 8820 and it works.
Thanks..
