Thought I'd chime in and say it as well. Very nice app and the update is thoughtfully done, post-haste. Well worth the money, especially when you rely on it on a daily basis like I do (work midnights).

What additional features are looking for?
Have you told the developer?

To me this software would be more valuable if you could dismiss an alarm with the bb locked, just like the alarm that comes installed. This is a great product, but without this feature, I went back to the stock bb alarm on my Curve.

I used to have the issue you referred to and it drove me crazy but no longer. Don't give up on BB Smart's alarm program. Download the new version of BB Light. Plug your phone in overnight and set BB Light to keep the backlight on when it's plugged in.

Thanks my friend - I appreciate the reply.
I have read through the BBLight thread and have installed the 1.87 version modified by tateu. Got the "Keep From Locking" and the "External Power/Charging" boxes checked, but my Curve still locks anyway.
Since we share the same model, (but I am on V4.2.2) any other ideas?

An upgrade to 4.5.0.52 seems to function better with the new BBLight options, therefore hopefully allowing me to ulitize BBSmart Alarms without locking.

I believe you're 100% right. I got all excited by the "keep from locking" feature when I saw it but was premature as it really didn't do that. It's roughly when I upgraded to 4.5 that BBLight (new version) basically fixed the BBSmart Alarms problem we both (and many others) experienced. You mentioned 4.5.0.52 but I'm quite sure that it also worked when I was on 4.5.0.37.

Incidentally, I tend not to use the "keep from locking" feature as there are definitely times when I want my BB to lock. Since I charge my phone overnight beside the bed, the "external power/charging" option seems to do the trick for me. Unrelated, I find that "always on - when out of holster" runs the battery down too quickly.

Is it possible with this software to configure any button press to be a snooze ?
I have an old SonyEricsson K750 that I still use to wake up in the morning because when the alarm goes on, you only have to press any key to stop it and then it will snooze in 9 minuts...

With the BB alarm, you have to click the roller-ball to snooze and when you are in the bed, it's not the best...

So can this (or any other software) can offer an "any key snooze" ??

TY
