Seriously? You'll pay me $10 to rate your application a 1 star? Oh, and didn't Belkin get in trouble for doing this? How about this... develop software that people will: (1) use, and (2) enjoy enough to write a review.

What a joke.

No no, you guys are getting me wrong. I will be setting up a website that reviews Blackberry Applications and I am looking for those of you who would be interested in submitting/writing reviews for the site.

I meant to say that I would be willing to pay $5-10 for each app that you review.

It just doesn't add up. But hey, what do I know? Good luck.

Why doesn't it add up? The first sentence meant to convey the fact that I needed applications on the app world reviewed.

So, say we purchase an app for $29.99, review it, and post the review, you will pay us between $5-$10 for the review? If that is how it works, this will be a tough sell. Now maybe if they provided the testers wih advance copies of new software, we reviewed it, write a review, got paid for the review, and got to keep the software that we reviewed, then maybe we'll have something to work with ...

Yup, something on those lines. I will cover the app cost and would be willing to pay a small amount of money for the review.

I'll jump in. Desperately need money, but I am a good reviewer. I can also make video reviews and yes I am serious. Currently I have the Pearl 8110 only to try stuff with... I'm saving up for a better BlackBerry that's why I need money .

How about you give me an OTA / offline download of an application, I use it for a day and write a review of it, let you examine it and have you decide whether or not my review quality is up to your expectations.

Ok? Yes, I am serious. Before I'll do anything though, it'd be nice if I could have some money in advance (say 5$) so then I know to fully trust you. Whether you want to trust me or not is completely in your hands. I can give you my eBay ID for example or something else to prove my loyalty.

Know what you mean though, but getting engaged in any BlackBerry related activity is good for me

It's not necessarily a bad idea, if done correctly. I just don't think it would succeed if it's not a big name website with other items to it's name, something like CNet would succeed with this, but seeing as they probably do this as well as other big websites and RIM themselves has a review system, I don't see this working any time soon. Not a bad deal for a reviewer, get paid to use an app, which the download cost would be covered apparently, and write an article about it. Just don't know how well it'll work out for the guy employing reviewers.
