When I try to add the the "themes.alx" file I get an error message that says "No additional applications designed for your handheld were found". Does anyone know what this means and whether there is a way to get around it?

maybe I'm stupid or something but I can't seem to get the O2 theme to work. I was able to load the Vodafone and TMO themes without any issues but I am running into a wall with O2. The method that I used to install TMO and Vodafone was by downloading it first and then installing via the application loader. Is this the same case for O2???

New poster here and I downloaded the themes, does anyone know if it is possible to rearrange set-up of the icons or menus? There are certain things I use more often then others and would like them on the home screen! Thanks, and love these forums!

You can rearrange icons on a screen; press the key in the lower left hand corner AND press the trackwheel. A menu with a "move icon" will appear.

You can not move items from one menu to another menu. You can not move items from a subordinate menu to the home screen. Sorry

Default This buggered my icons

I installed the other themes, but didn't get all the application icons to show up. I've uninstalled it. It is probably my fault for skimming the instructions (duh!). But from now on I'll leave well enough alone.

Step 2. Unzip and extract files to a New seperate folder on the desktop. You can choose where to extract the files to, it makes no difference, but remember where you extract them to.(pictured below using WinRAR)

What program can I use to open up the file, as it says Windows cannot open this file?

can someone email me at [email address] and help me out with this

Default Problems with Calculator after installing Small Icons Theme

After reading this forum, I installed the Small Icons Theme on my BB without experiencing any problems. I like this theme much better than the standard theme that came with my Cingular 7100g. However, now that I have installed the new theme, my calculator application no longer works. I get the following error message when I attempt to launch the application:

Uncaught exception: Cannot find image: highlight_calculator

Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this problem?

Also, has anyone been experimenting with creating custom themes such as the themes that can be made with relative easy for high-end SonyEricsson phones (before getting my BB, I had a SE637, which I loved).

Unfortunately there is no way to fix this. Apparently the small themes icon and the calculator on the 7100 do not play well. This has been around since the new themes were ripped from the 7700 series and put onto the 7100t.

If you are trying to edit the theme yourself, I dont think this can be done without a heavy background in Java and RIM programming.

If you are only trying to install the themes to your device, follow the instructions lone by line and it works. You can download winrar from click here if that is your issue.

Question Any progress on OTA themes download?

I have a corproate 7100t with all wireless sync, etc. and can't install the desktop manager on my computer (nice XP lock down job from corporate ) - yet I can install apps into my BB via OTA.

Has anybody been successful getting the themes downloaded via OTA?

Thanks,

I tried this method (themes.zip) for installing more themes on my 7100t. All I gained was the vodafone theme. Did I miss something?

That is a 3.8 version of the Vodafone theme, so the calculator does not work properly. You will have to install a 4.0 or 4.0.2 version of the theme. If you have 4.0.2 installed, you can read a few of my threads just below here which will explain how to get all 7100 and 72xx themes installed on your handheld.

As for the OTA question, themes are easily downloadable OTA. I will put these up on my website here shortly (maybe tonight) via OTA, ZIP, blah blah blah, etc. downloads.
