I have a problem where I did a hard resent on my phone, and upon restore the device pictures on my SD card converted to .jpg.rem, but the thing is, I can't even view them on my BB either, they are just blank document icons with a green arrow. When I click on a .jpg.rem photo, it says "Unable to display file /Media Card/Blackberry/pictures/

I've tried everything, turning off all the encryption options (both in Security as well as Media Card). I've also tried emailing the .jpg.rem photos, but nothing happens; the photos wouldn't show.

I've also tried to copy/move the .jpg.rem photos to the Device Memory, but it says "File System Error".

These files have been encrypted but you could try decrypt them by transferring them to your PC through Media Manager. The encryption will be removed during the copy process.
