hello all,

first off i like to say that i spent the last 30 minutes searching the forums so if this has been answered i apologize.

for some reason i am not receiving emails/pins, and so on. thishas been happening for the past few days. if i take the battery out and the phone restarts then i get all my mail.

i am currently using a 8800 on cingular/at&t. v4.2.1.7.2

any help would be greatly appreciated. this is costing me $$missing all these emails.

thanks

I assume you have a BlackBerry Data Plan that is provisioned on your account??

If so it could be a carrier issue or a problem with the account.... I'd call and have them check the provisioning...

as much as i hate to do so,i will give them a call.

i find it odd that it stops working, then after a reset,it works again for hours, then back to the same old problem. FRUSTRATION !!!!!!!!

Sounds like a provisioning issue on their end or the device is having issue....

LOL.... I feel your pain and hate calling customer service as well....

Default firewalla

hey check the fire wall by going to options>security>firewall make sure everything is unchecked. If this does not work then contact your service provider.
