Strange that there aren't any for the biggest cities like NY, Boston, LA or Miami. Chicago is big, yes. Also wonder if this means it won't be released until after the final date on there, 11/20. No point in a "first look" event if it's already released, no?

Biggest cities? Washington DC > NY > Atlanta are the largest BB cities in the world. NONE are on there.

Very disappointed that there are none in the DC Metro area which is probably of the epicenter of BB usage, personal and work (government)

Nothing west of Nebraska? This is wierd. Plus, I haven't even seen Verizon advertise this at all. I wonder if this is just another marketing ploy.

Cool

I'd like to know what they are up to. They are avoiding the big cities for a reason.

Looks like it may be a fake...

I would hold off registration for this until it has been confirmed, but crackberry.com is reporting it may be B.S.

We'll see...

I did some digging. First the vzwsolutions.com is run/registered to Patrick Solutions Inc. a Columbus based small business that does database and marketing work. I also called a few of the hotels that are putting on the events and they confirm that the events are legit, confirming VZW as host.

At this point the only thing that would make it concrete, is an official announcement from a VZW marketing person.

Thanks Shaun. Now it makes sense why they are only hitting certain cities.
