Kind of hard to compare a Canadian Carrier to a US Carrier don't you think? I bet it will be $199 With a Two Year

It has to be end with $x99.99 That's marketing gimmick.
Since Bold is doing $399 with 3-yr, assuming next gen iPhone is not coming alongside, I'd think Thunder will be $299 for 3-yr contract.

I believe this device is geared towards consumer market than corporate.

Except in the US, 3-year contracts don't exist. I say $299 on a 2-year contract is a reasonable price for the Thunder.

I'd like to see $249. I know it's only $50 difference, but in the eyes of the consumer, it looks alot bigger.

The question is meaningless without a timeframe. What's it going to cost the day it's introduced? How about a week later? A month? 3 months?

I doubt I would even consider buying one until they've been out a few months, so I'm a lot more interested in what the price will be then.

The Pearl was more expensive when it first came out. But when I got mine 6 months ago, it was down to $50 (after rebate). Now THAT's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

Yeah, but if this thing turns out to be pretty good, I'm not waiting the year and a half to get it. I'd rather pony up a couple extra bucks to get it sooner.

totally agree with enjayy, if it is a good device I'd buy it rather waiting for the price to go down couple years down the road. I'd assume also we're speculating the device launching day price.

For some reason, I don't think it's $99.

If that is even CLOSE to being a possibility, that's AWESOME. I've been ready to shell out $299 for months. Being able to put that money elsewhere would make my non-blackberry using husband a whole lot easier to get along with!!!

As a poor college student, that would be nice. I noticed on the website, however, that the minimum plan required to get the phone is $80 a month. I thought you were able to get a standard voice plan ($39.99) + a $29.99 data plan? Is this not the case?
