Curve Browser doesn't play ringtones
Please Login to Remove!
I've done a search on the site before I posted this.
When ever I get a link to a download a ringtone on the browser and I select play instead of download I get this error. "A problem occurred while trying to render the page"
Sometimes I like to listen to the ringtone before I d/l it. Am I the only one having this issue?

I suppose it depends on what format the ringtone is in. It also could be that the Blackberry browser doesn't support the website's streaming format that gives you a preview.

It worked for me when I used it on the pearl. The ringtones are different formats, but it hasn't been working since I've gotten the curve.

Jay, while the BB is powered ON, pull the battery on the BB, and replace to reboot the device. Try again.

Odd. Mobile41 works fine for my Curve. I get the choice to Open, Save, or Cancel. But they play right in the browser.

It doesn't work for me even when I pull the battery out. It worked for me when I 1st received the handheld. I can choose to save and cancel. I know I'm not the only one.

I have OS 4.2.180 there isn't a higher version is there?

Well yes ur not the only one when I first got my curve I was able to play videos on funformobile. One day it just stop working and I got the render problem error. I'm lost on this one. My OS is 4.2.2.180.
