Thanks Penguin3107. I downloaded and installed it but my device said no updates required. I deleted the vendor.xml as instructed but that didnxxx8217;t work. I then ran the javaloader and wiped the device, giving me the 507. I am running the Desktop Manager 4.5.0.15 which I understand is the latest. Any tips to get the O/S back on this thing? Thanks.
After getting the 507 (no OS error), Open Desktop Manager and proceed. You should be given the alert that an OS is available to upgrade.
**And we don't EVER publish "torrents or links" on this site, to other than legal RIM and carrier websites for OS downloads. One way to make sure you are getting the real file.
Just a thought, not sure if it will help you out or not, but may be worth a try. Did you have another OS installed on your PC before installing this version. Go ino add/remove programs and remove any OS installed and then try ti install this version to see if that helps.
restart your PC. It might help. Because maybe it's not detecting it via USB. Maybe first try closing and then opening DM. Just a thought . I've had the issue as well.

Installing the Desktop Manager AFTER you installed the HH OS and deleted the vendor.xml file, then DM will install another vendor.xml file... search your c: drive for the file and delete all instances of it.
