I was at my service store the other day and an employee told me to charge the phone only when it is very very low. I like to make sure I am always above 50% though just in case I don't have my charger with me.
So for these BBs, when is the proper safest time to charge the battery?
I generally keep mine topped up most of the time. Lithium-ion batteries don't need to be cycled like the older Ni-Cads. I don't know if there is a definitive answer or not.
As I have read, just about any time, LazyChandler. The batteries in the BBs "like" being charged. But I believe they have to go through a couple of full-to-drained cycles when they are new to break them in.
I sync w/MS Outlook via USB. I just leave the cable on after syncing to allow the battery to charge.
There is nothing you can do that will greatly change the performance of your battery except to run it dead. L-Ion batteries suffer in loss of performance if run to dead.
Just use your battery and charge it every night while sleeping and enjoy it!
SOme can not keep their hands off their phone and they might need to top off the battery during the day. I use 2000+ minutes a month and handle 60 -70 emails and still come home on the average day with 40%
