Default KeePass for BB or Password Keeper?

Please Login to Remove!

Which one is better: KeePass for BB or the basic Password Keeper ? I've been using Password Keeper for a bit...very convenient for storing internet passwords, usernames and such. Heard quite a bit about KeePass...wondering if any of you out there have any first hand knowledge.

Wirelessly posted (BB 8330)

Can't say about key pass but I have been using Data Vault for about 8 months and it works great. And its backed up on the PC.

Default Comes down to personal preference

I have used both and settled on KeePass primarily because of the desktop sync capability. I usually work on my desktop to check sites, do work, etc. so I enter the details in the desktop app and then transfer it over when I do a sync. The bonus here is that I have a copy/backup of my sites and passwords on both my desktop and my BB.

Really it depends on how you plan to use the software. I found trying different apps (assuming they are free or free to try) will determine what works for you.

Good luck.

Default Password Keeper - Transferring Data

Need some info and hope someone can help. Just upgraded from bb7520 to bb8330. I'd like to transfer my data in password keeper on the 7520 to the 8330 but no luck. have used the bb desktop and back-up and transfer from one to the other assuming that included password keeper.

Any ideas?
