My blackberry will not connect to my internet applications like Twitter, Facebook and Blackberry Messenger! However when I'm at home connected to the wi-fi it works fine! When I rang up my service provider they said they didn't know what was wrong but I need to sort this out haha! It's a Bold 9780. Anyone?????

Blackberry Messenger works when you have wifi service? So, you do have a BlackBerry data plan?

Yeaj I've had my bb since July and it has worked fine, but now it only connects to internet when using wifi which means whenever I leave my house it doesn't work!:(

Try this. Turn off wifi, if it is on. Make sure you are in a location with good mobile signal. Make sure mobile network it turned on. With the BlackBerry power on, remove the battery a wait a good 30 seconds before putting it back. Then test. If it still doesn't work, resend service books and test again.

So, when you do not have mobile network data, do you have mobile signal? Can you make and receive phone calls? For the network connection, do you see GPRS, EDGE, or 3G in all upper case, or do you see lower case, or only GSM?

Also, when you try to use the apps, what error message do you get?

Maybe your carrier has borked your data plan. On some pay-go plans, when you use up your monthly data allotment they shut down your data. In any case, call your carrier and see what's what on their end.
