Default Contacts gone? :(

Please Login to Remove!

I just downloaded the new Blackberry software (4.2.1.107) and as soon as my phone turned back on, the only contacts saved were my fave five. I already tried the "convert SIM card phone book to address book" and it didn't work. I have no idea what to do - has anyone had this problem?
Thanks

Did you make a backup of your data before the upgrade or did the upgrade make the automatic backup? Usually the App Loader does an automatic backup and restore. However, you can manualy restore address book info in the backup if it didn't work properly. Use the backup/restore advanced feature. Then go to File >Open and select the Loaderbackup.ipd file that it made. Then restore the address book (from the left pane) into the the BB device (right pane.)

Sorry another quick question: since brickbreaker is gone, would it be on that same backup thing on the computer? Or is that just part of the new software.

Just open your Desktop Manager back up. Double Click on Application Loader > Then put a tick in the Brick Breaker box and follow the prompts...

Yup. That'll do it. Just make sure you plug your BB in first!
