Default Email deleting - strange behaviour

Please Login to Remove!

Hi@all,
since yesterday I am having strange troubles on my bberry account/s.

I have 4 accounts and one of them (since yesterday) has gone mad.
I noticed it after upgrading firmware. I first installed the 4.2.1.103 and then thought I could resolve by installing the 4.2.1.107 from T mobile. It did not help.

I cannot choose anymore if to delete my emails from the handheld or from both mailbox and handheld. The option has simply disappeared: I can only choose to delete or not the message; I have already checked email reconciliation settings and even upgraded the firmware. The option appeared back one or twice but for a couple of emails then vanished again.
So if I select "delete" the email is deleted only on the handheld and not on the mailbox.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? Should I revert to 4.2.1.66?

I do not know what else to do...it drives me nuts.
It's a BIS account

Try this out My Email Stopped Arriving (BlackberryFAQ).

If that doesn't help try removing the little elves from your phone.

Well...I am afraid I will have to try that thing of the elves out
I also reverted back to the former firmware but no results.
I wonder why only one of the accounts does that.

Any other idea?

Ty for your effort,

Well I was lucky I found the answer by myself. Yes...I am stubborn
I'll report it here just in case somebody else will run into the same trouble. Of course, Tim Italy proved itself helpless once more and even suggested me to contact directly Rim. LOL...I seldom heard that rubbish (do they not know Rim does not answer to final consumers here in Italy?)

Erasing the handheld content and reloading the backup file was useless; updating the firmware gave no results until I decided to erase the 8100 content *without* reloading the whole backup file. I saved only my address book and custom words collection and reloaded ony these data.
Et voila, the pearl came to life again and the email delete options reappeared.

So, at the end, that's clearly something in the other options that was wrong although I had not modified anything at all.
I remember that in the day I found my 8100 lose the delete from server option I noticed two new icons on the display which I hadn't ever seen before: they were Yahoo Search and Yahoo Messenger.

Please note that I subscribed only the email data plan and I never tried to use the bberry browser.

I don't know how but Tim must have installed it from remote and that messed up the bberry.

That's all...hoping that will help other guys.
