So lately i've been having issues when i go to watch youtube videos. Typically after a minute or two I'll get an error that says "An error occurred attempting to play media" or sometimes "Attempting to play unsupported format" even after I watched some of the video. I use m.youtube.com, and i've even used the optimize option and I'm still having this issue. Anyone else run into this issue before?? I'd rather not have to use a standalone player.
I've been having the exact same issue right from the beginning. I blame my carrier, but my carrier blames it on how RIM compresses the data stream. I am very curious to see if there is a solution.
I'm guessing you guys tried a hard reset, but gotta mention just in case:
With the power on, remove the battery for a least 30 seconds. Then try again.
I don't use m.youtube.com, but haven't had troubels when I do. I'm using 9700/5.0.0.714 now, but also used it before on an 8820. Lots of buffering on EDGE, of course, but perfect on wifi. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
