I don't blame you, memory is the only downfall on the 8830, I'd still use mine if it wasn't for the low memory compared to the Curve.

I've been using Bolt now for about a week and a half. I used the referral code crackberry in filling out the request. I first installed it by copying the unsigned link into my BB browser which is what the directions say to do, copy, paste etc. I used it for two days and uninstalled it but then had a change of heart. I went back and got another copy and have been using it since in place of Opera Mini or when I don't have to use the BB browser.

It does load fast, especially on wifi. The cursor's a little jerky as was said but you can also use the number pad. The split screen view is nice once you get use to it and the back button doesn't take you back, you have to use the menu for that. I like it as an alternative to the BB browser and would like to see it developed a little further.

I'm actually suprised we haven't seen an update yet, its been 2-3 weeks now, even a small incremental backup or some blog updates somewhere from the developer.

I think a lot of folks are sharing that sentiment, hopefully NOT hearing from them will mean good news soon. As in that update is coming soon.

How do I set up an internet access point (I'm on T-mo with an 8100)? Apparently you can't use the WAP gateway.
I've the same problem, APN settings are applied but still not working... I'm on Vodafone NL.

Anyone who has a few tips, or are there no more options to try?

I tried it too and still not impressed with the cursor movement. I find navigating with the 2,4,6, and 8 keys to be easier.

Yea, I don't see a vast improvement in the cursor speed either... Maybe next time

i second that. cursor speed is absolutely dreadful. this is a big letdown....when i saw the upgrade "Scrolling on track ball BlackBerry devices is now faster and smoother" listed, i was pumped. but no difference than the original beta version i got. i won't uninstall the app this time around though...the "auto update" feature is nice. i'll be sure to check back later

edit: i also love the split screen feature. i'm not giving up on the Bolt browser just yet....i think it's going to be THE only browser to have when they work out the kinks.

Cursor control/speed is still dreadful on the 95xx.

But the app seems faster with .99 loaded. I too will leave it hanging around a bit. OM Generic Advanced MIDP 2 is winning the browser war on my Storm.

As long as they get a download feature built in like Opera Mini and the cursor speeds get a major improvement then maybe your right, but for now I got 3 browser on my BlackBerry... One would think 3 browser is too much wouldn't they..

Today I've updated to the 0.83 and now I can connect to the WWW with BIS. It loads pages faster then Opera, but the mouse cursor is indeed very slow.

I requested a referral number, they sent it immediately and I was up and running in about two minutes.

I used the unsigned version.

So far so good. I will play with it some more today.

The lag when entering URLs and text is annoying too.

The browser looks promising. I'll keep all three on my BB for now.
