No. Once your BB is unlocked it will not be locked again.

I have a slight query...

Do I need to install the Sun Microsystems JDK /JVM on my computer before I can use the JD_Loader?

I have downloaded the ZIP/WinRar file, tried to run it and had no success.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanking you in advance ...

Hi

I have just downloaded JL_Cmder but it will not install on my Vista PC. It pops up with a window asking me if I want to install JL Cmder but when I click yes, a black command-like window flashes up with some message. I am not able to read it as it then closes again.

I have tried executing JL_Cmder in a CMD window too and the same thing happens.

Would appreciate any assistance you can give.

Thanks

H

Hi,
I am using my 9700 with the latest firmware 9700M_PBr5.0.0_rel1111_PL5.1.0.153_A5.0.0.656.exe from Vodafone.
This morning I activated the bold to my company BES server, so that I have now an IT-policy.
This policy does not allows me to use the DesktopManager anymore. I have tried many options to remove the IT-Policy:
1. tried the policy.bin way with the desktop manager
2. tried JL_cmd /resettofactory
BUT everytime the system asks me for a password. It is not my SIM and also not my personal password.

Do I have any chance to remove temporaliy the IT-Policy ?

Is there any jad that will remore the policy ?

regards
kuzco

'JAVALOADER' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I am running Windows 7, 64 bit.

I am trying to remove an IT policy.

I had this problem too. I looked at the code in the JL_Cmder.cmd file and so was able to figure out how to do it from the command line myself. I'm running Vista 64-bit Ultimate.

1. I downloaded the JL_Cmder v1.9.1.zip file. I then copied it to the "Public Downloads" folder.
2. Logged in as the PC's administrator.
3. Extracted the JL_Cmder v1.9.1.exe from the zip file and put it on the desktop.
4. Right clicked on JL_Cmder v1.9.1.exe and ran as Administrator (probably wasn't necessary since I was already logged on as Administrator). I deleted the shortcut for JL_Cmder on the desktop since it pointed to the wrong place and I didn't need it.
5. Opened a Command Prompt and then typed "cd c:\Program Files (x86)\JL_Cmder"
6. I typed:
JavaLoader -u -wMyblackberrypassword resettofactory
because I was trying to reset my BB to the original factory settings, including erasing any previously set BES policies.

(After typing this up, I found a more complete explanation of the process at enduserguides.com/mobile/blackberry/eug_bb_factory.html )

thanks, i had XP and had issues too that it didn't launch.

For XP users: go to C:\Program Files\JL_Cmder
and run the JL_CMDER.cmd file and all is good

to C:\Program Files\JL_Cmder

plus in = ?

Do you mean plug in?

If so, yes, plug in to computer using USB cable.

also have vista 64 bit. the jl cmder v1.9 simply connects to device for hours. the jl cmder v1.9.1 blinks a command prompt and then produces what looks to be a .cmd file. neither of which do anything for me. also note, i've used the v1.9 to wipe this very device before. didn't do anything special last time. please help.
