Please Login to Remove!

Help!!!
Trying to startup gizmo5 on my 8310 but with no joy. I have managed to download it on to the phone, but when I try signing in it comes up with a message saying connection to server has failed, I have tried changing the TCP APN setting to the vodafone settings but still no joy, can anyone please help as I would like to use this software asap for MSN and calling abroad.

Thanks

After you change the TCP settings, make sure you remove the battery and reboot the BB.

There are different APNs for different Vodafone countries. I am not sure which fits your need. You may need to experiment with them, but you do need to pull the battery after EACH new setting, as that sets the APN on reboot.

No, I don't.

Do you have a Data Plan for your BB?

Call your carrier and ask for the BlackBerry Data Plan.

None of what you are trying to do will likely work otherwise.

Good luck.

I'm not having problems with all the listed reasons for getting a data plan. Thanks for your help anyway. I am exploring a different avenue now. LOL
