Default New Storm - What should I do first?

Please Login to Remove!

I am expecting my Storm this week. I am a new BB user.

What should I do first?
How long should I charge it the first time?
Should I charge it before I do anything else?
Anything else that is common sense to all of you BB pro's that I may not think about being a first time user?

As always, I thank you in advance for you replies.

I would first charge it. While it is charging you can mess with it a little.
Install blackberry database manager on your pc.
Then I would get then new update there are links in here to do so. I installed the new OS last night, and it did help out my bb.
Once your battery has ran down all the way, charge it all the way back up. Vz has told me before that the battery can basically take a memory. ex if you run down half and charge half, your battery will not hold that great of a charge.
this may not be the best details, but I hope it helps

Wirelessly posted (T-Mobile 8120)

If you can afford it, (60$ or so at the moment) then I would invest in a 16gb media card

Got mine on Fri. The battery came out of the box at 50%, so charge is not required but a good idea anyway. I would install the blackberry desktop manager on your pc and download the latest code before doing anything else.
