I ordered mine on 11/24 online, and was given a 12/5 ship date at the latest. I just received an email stating my ship date has been moved back 3 days to 12/8!

I got a call just now from the rep who promised to call me and back and NO PHONE! Nothing has shipped. So guess what, I am shipping my business to another carrier which will be AT&T as it has the 2nd best coverage (work phone is a iPhone), I will open up a family plan there and add a personal line to the one I use as a work line. I was given NO shipping date but only a promise to get a call back with a update everyday till it ships. Nice gesture on the rep's part but, too little too late. Verizon just lost about $400 a month in revenue not to mention all the smartphone purchases I've made at full retail price.

Heading over to the evil empire AT&T tonight to open new lines there and port all my numbers there.

No I dont have the phone yet. I still have the 8830. I am waiting when there is about 20 at each store. I dont want a phone that might have gotten mucked up in a rush to get them out the door. Ill get one before the end of the year.

I'll be giving Verizon a call tomorrow to see where my phone is, considering that it was supposed to arrive yesterday. I'm hoping I heard wrong and that it was really supposed to be shipped by yesterday - maybe I'll be toying with it tomorrow.. maybe.

My 9530 shipped Wednesday night by FedEx Overnight, and was delivered this morning at 10:27 am.

Just walked downstairs and mine is FINALLY here. I must've heard Verizon wrong and assumed it'd be delivered by Wednesday when it was really shipped then. Off to go port over my number now!

If I order my phone at a vzw store does that mean it will still ship on 12/11 like it says on the website? Or is that just for online orders?
