I normally read notifications, respond to them and then delete them. This time, I got a Facebook friend request. I confirmed it and tried to delete it, but nothing happened, it's still there no matter how many times I try to delete it.

I don't use facebook, don't know exactly what you are talking about....but.....first troubleshooting step is almost always a hard reset. With the power one, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds. Then try again. If that doesn't fix it, do it again, and wait a minute or two, then try again. Do that and see what happens.

Next time, try a soft reset. If that doesn't work, then do the hard reset.

It seems to be a bug in the FB app. I've done the reset (battery pull) many times and it works. Then the next day it is back. I just go into the FB app and open it again then close the app and the notification is gone, but then it comes back later. I hope next update fixes it.
