Default Password Keeper not restoring after upgrade

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, I have search all night to find an answer to this question....here is my situation.

I have an 8700g on tmo, I have the DM version 4.2 sp2, and currently have the 4.1.0.377 version from cingular on the handheld. Upgrading to .377 from the original tmo version was the first upgrade I did on this phone, loved the new version. I was happy with it up until the new 4.2 versions started coming out, so I tried several of those with the usual problems (low volume, device lag, etc) So I decided to downgrade back to my trusted .377 version, but things weren't right. The wireless would keep disconnecting from towers, device would keep restarting itself, things like that. All this time the password keeper worked perfectly.

Three nights ago I decided to wipe the device completely and install the .377 to see if those problems would go away....to date, they are gone, and I am happy with the version .377 again. BUT, now I don't have password keeper. I had done a complete backup, and then a complete restore. I was getting all my settings back to normal and noticed that PK wasn't there. I went to do an "advanced restore" and the PK option is 'greyed out' and not available to transfer to the BB. There is small print at the bottom of the DM window that says...

"Databases that are unavailable in the list have been configured for wireless synchronization or wireless backup and are read-only. You cannot restore or clear them."

My problem lies in the fact that I never set them that way, since I have never done a wireless sync or backup. I can't go into PK on the phone to set it differently because it isn't even installed on my phone.

Does anyone have any idea what to do...I would even be okay with just getting a fresh copy of PK and re-enter all my passwords, I just want PK back.

All help is appreciated.
