Default MP3 File Format for 7130e

Please Login to Remove!

I have tried creating various mp3 files as ringtones for the 7130e but for some reason they do not work. I've tried various formats but they still do not play on the browser. Can anyone help?

No go. I've tried different formats and files sizes. I have two files (attached) that will not play when I browse them. Any other ideas?

I formated them the way they work on my 8700.

Try this one and see if it works.

Yes it works. What setting are you using for exporting to mp3? I have Audacity for audio editing.

Seems dbpoweramp works better than audacity for sound quality. I was able to set the MP3 parameters for 32kbs bit rate mono and 22khz sampling to get the file to work. But it does not sound as good as yours.

I've decided to give up on mp3 files. No matter what I try they either stop playing after a few times or don't play at all. Its sad because I found a great MP3 resource for short, event sounds that are great for message, SMS notifications.
