This is the model I am getting, unless Rogers deploys a $100-for-100megs plan.

I'm tired of paying Rogers $300 per month (Their $60 "unlimited" plan is not unlimited, it costs $7 per megabyte after 25 megabytes).

I'll probably switch in April, when Bell Mobility offers the 7250, or I find a 7250 on eBay. At least, I'll tolerate Bell Mobility since the 7250 represents a mammoth improvement, and I get to use it as an EV-DO high speed external modem for laptop too. (If what I hear is true.)

Still got a few calls and faxes to send to Rogers first...

dolo,

Yes, it is slightly smaller. The new 7250 is exactly the same size as a 7290 (which I have seen) which is smaller than the 7750.

Yah I will have to wait till it comes out. I couldnt wait so I had to go buy the 7750 for now. I guess I will just sell mine on eBay or something like that when the new one comes out.

Default Heard it from TeleSales

In my conversation with Verizon TeleSales today, I was told that the 7250 will be available on Feb 11th.

I just purchased the 7750 and was really hoping to have the bluetooth functionality. I purchased the Bluetooth headset adapter, and I have not been very happy with it.

I wish I had VZW's B2B number, unfortunatly I don't. The company I work for, requires "B2B training" before they release those numbers to us (which is crap IMHO, I've done enough B2B's with other carriers, oh well). I'd assume call CS they should be able to transfer you. 1-800-922-0204.

Played with one of these today. Very nice. WAY faster than the 7230 I've got right now and with a much nicer 2-level backlight.

I heard from a little bird that the 7250 will be able to do crazy wild things in the future with a software upgrade and some network changes.

I was just talking to our RIM guy the other day and he made no mention of this. Odd.

Telstra in Australia have just started selling the 7250. We have been advised by RIM that a firmwire update will be available around June that will allow the device to be used as an EVDO modem.

Well, I just got a 7250 last week (Verizon) and so far I'm thrilled. I confess it's my first smart phone, but I'm amazed that I can sync my contacts/addresses with my Mac Powerbook, using a dowloadable third party program, then turn around and using the enclosed software from RIM sync my calendar with my office PC. Plus surfing the internet for quick news, email that works great....

I love it...
