Question BES 10.1 Setup with Lotus Traveler 9.0

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

It has been a while I touch BES. Now that the top management wants a BES 10.1 setup for our top boss, here I am again posting in the forums

So I have a messaging environment where mostly Lotus Domino 8.5.x mail servers and I would like to install a basic configuration but be ready for High Availability setup in case the top people want it in the future.

What will be the minimum number servers required? I imagine below:-

(1) 1 x server for Lotus Traveler 9.0 (will the new NAMES.NSF affect my existing 8.5 version?)
(2) 1 x server for BES 10.1 (what are the minimum components to be installed?)
(3) 1 x server for SQL 2008 SP 2 (Enterprise) (running default instance, what are the specific SQL access required?)

Hope to start a discussion with Domino folks here!

Thanks.

I don't have much to add other than that we run Traveler 9.0 with 8.5.3 Domino servers without issue.
