i use a BB 8310 with OS 4.5 v 4.5.0.55 and i cant seem to use my yahoo messenger.. pls i need help.
my google talk works fine and my msn messenger work just fine as well..

You need to be more descriptive. Do you get any error messages? Do you have the icon? Are you on a dataplan?

i am on a data plan and i get an error message like " service not enabled for this handheld"

Typically that error has something to do with service books. I would contact your carrier and inquire about the bis service books and possibly have them re-pushed.
