Default restoring downloads

Please Login to Remove!

I recently had my BB replaced due to buttons sticking. I have restored all my data, but the downloads I had downloaded previously are missing.
I recently saved these apps to a folder on my desktop, but can't remember how to get them back on my Storm.
Do I use the DM and browse to my desktop to "restore" the downloads?
Any help appreciated........
thanks

I believe you go to add/remove programs
click browse, find the folder and the relevant .alx file and click on it
and do that for each app

then click next and it should install.
