Default Twitter App BIS-B compatible

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, is there a tweeter app that does support BIS-B? I tried socialscope but it's too bloated to me.

Best,
Jaime

tiny twitter & uber twitter work for me out of the box (ATT BIS-B) without providing additional information.

I cant see profiles in WAP, so I will say that most of us BIS users are not having an issue. Dont confuse these twitter clients with IM

bisb will use your data plan.

Do you have an unlimited plan? By the way, I have never criticized a profile picture until I saw your choice.

Opera Mini still uses your regular data connection and you'll still get charged.

It seems that different programs react differently with different devices. Twitterberry was a disaster for me. I am with Ubertwiter for one acct and tiny twitter for the other.

If you do not have a data plan, I would not use any twitter applications, or any that require data period. You will be charged with Opera Mini, even without a data plan. Just like with Tiny Twitter, Twitterberry, Ubertwitter, etc. I highly recommend getting a data plan, especially since your phone does not have wifi.

twitterberry sometimes gets flaxky(when I updated to the new beta it stopped working...had to remove and reinstall).

I still want an app that allows me to unfollow.

tinytwitter I do not like the way display..hard to read the tweets(nothing is however cached.

I have unlimited bis data plan..
And I use twitterberry 0.9.0.6 with bisb selected...
But in this link I read something
http://bit.ly/TkgW2
Bis apps really use bis data??

If not what is amount a twitter app uses??

Do I have to have supported servicebooks for 3. Party software??

There seems to be a lot of misinformation here.

Users ask about certain software supporting BIS because some carriers charge for non-BIS data separately, it's not because they don't have a BB data plan. For instance, on O2 UK, I get "infinite" BB data, however I'm charged per meg for using data via the APN. For that reason I don't set the APN at all, so I can be sure I won't get charged. Unfortunately this leads to a lot of software not working.

On to different pieces of software..

Opera, although it used to use the APN, has since been upgraded and CAN now use a proper BIS connection.

UberTwitter, although it's on their roadmap, does not use BIS. They support BES and APN, but oddly not BIS.

Why not use m.twitter.com for this?
