I just sent off my T-Mobile rebate form in the mail and I'm anxious to get it. Obviously it won't be anytime soon; the form says "rebates can take up to 8 weeks", but I figure there's no harm in asking how others have done with it lately.

How soon did yours come...?

When I signed up for T-Mobile a few years back I had a $50 mail in rebate. I was actually very surprised at how quick it got my check. I think it was only a couple weeks. I was expecting to have to harass them to get my money.

Wirelessly posted (8320 Titanium)

Olly, got two curves a while back, $100 rebate on each one. The rebates were trackable once they were processed and in tmos system. We recd our rebate cards in about 4 weeks and had no issues using them. Same thing with my parents when they bought 3 samsungs and had 3 $50 rebate cards coming...about 4 weeks and they were in hand. I've always had good luck with tmo rebates.

Much appreciated, and more promising feedback. Fingers crossed!

I would say it's never taken me over a month.

Then again I've only done this about 3 times.

Haven't had any experience with the VISA Rebate card yet. Only the old school checks.

I'm still fighting to get my only rebate I've ever had with T-Mobile. I used an upgrade credit to get a Samsung Behold for one of my friends. (I bought my 8900 off of eBay.) I was denied the rebate for two reasons. First, I'd never placed a call with it on my account. Second, the rebate required a data plan. Bear in mind, I HAVE a data plan, but it's a BLACKBERRY data plan, so it doesn't count. I'm switching carriers.

omg seriously. We put in the rebate for my husband when he bought his phone. The rebate was submitted on 3/21. It was in the TMO rebate status as pending eta 5/23. No kidding. I looked yesterday and the eta was updated to 5/16. I am NOT impressed. He purchased the 8900.

Call up Tmobile. I had some issues with one of the rebates we sent and apparently it was missing a piece of requested information. It might be hung up because it's not complete. Either way, calling to check on the status might get you additional info not presented on the website.

Default Sent first rebate form April 2009

I sent my rebate form to Young America in April of this year. I have to date not received my debit card. They sent me a letter stating that I had not filled in the IMEI number on the first form. I had. I sent in a second form with the IMEI number. Still nothing as of 12 July 2009. What a scam.

So you are going to switch carriers because you failed to meet the rebate criteria that is clearly stated on the rebate?
