i have a boost mobile sim card in my blackberry curve(8350i). it wont allow me to send or receive texts? CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT ON HOW TO MAKE IT HAPPEN???? im a big texter n thats one reason i got the phone

I have 2 Nextel 8350I phones that so far:

Have purchased sime cards for both, and can make calls on the boost nextwork.

Address book working

mms working

wifi working

now can we get internet off the air, and if so how....every one that sells the nextel boost cd claims that it can.

sugestions about email

if the internet wont work, any suggestions about obtaing news?

Ok I'm a real dummy. I have a 8350 that I want to get running on boost, so I'm trying to follow your directions. The first step to download service books, can you go into a little more detail. What do I do at the FileDen site?

download The Combined3.ipd File is all u need 2 do when your on fileden. I Think The Fileden Is HAving A Problem.. I WIll Switch The Link...

It Will Work With The 7100i Also. I Had That Phone Prior To Getting The 8350i So It Should Also Work With It.

hello! i am using this phone with boostmobile and like most who have this phone, dont have the option to text! i have been looking to solve he problem for quite some time now and ran across this post. I am trying to follow the steps you have given, but the links are no longer active, do you think you can still help me out? Also, when i connect my blackberry to my computer the blackberry desktop manager wont let me do anything, it takes no action when i click on some of the given options, can you think of any reasons why? Please, if you can, PLEASE help me! IM DESPERATE! lol

You need the correct drivers on your computer for DM to connect to your phone. I don't know what version of BB DM you are using, but you might have to uninstall and reinstall. For your texting problem go to the 8350i thread on the crackberry forum. You will find working links for the service books you need there.
