Part of the BB security features. Incorrectly enter the password 10 times and the device is wiped.

Best bet... stop messing with the phone and have your attorney get a court order. Simple as that.

even with my high-cost-BB gadgets (Furious GOld with BB pack activated, and my Blackberry Box) there is no solution for reading the lock codes of blackberry phones,

they said the coder is doing their best to dycrypt those line but as of now its imposible...

so i think you better find another way maam aside from reading the files of you husband's phone...

If you are on a Mac & using Missing Sync from Mark / Space you can look at the Message Log. If he had those checked to sync then it would show every message ever sent. Even if he deleted them on the handset then synced.
You may also look at the drives to see if he saved any photos that he wanted to keep private.

Bypassing security like you want to do and using the info in court would not stand in court you should speak to your solicitor

How do you know what you're looking for is in the BlackBerry?? Search for *.ipd files on the PC (if you have admin rights) and see if the last sync'd date of the "ipd" file is the most recent and you could forward that to your own email address (web-based) for safe keeping. This last sync'd or few sync'd files may contain what you're after IF what you're after is on the device.

If you're looking for cheating evidence on the Blackberry (just a guess) you should really have another way to find what you're after as a backup plan.

....And this is a great example of why you should use the security password on your BlackBerry.

I use the password protection to protect MY privacy. Not to break into anything.

Boy, a lot of suggestions but none have asked if the BB was on a BES. If it was it would be simple for a lawyer to request with a court order a complete listing of everything the BB was sent, transmitted and all itxxx8217;s calls in and out. My company tracks everything and has used the info to discipline employees who have strayed from business only rules.

My guess is that the OP would not have a clue.

A court order can be obtained regardless of the device being on BES, and I suggested a court order several days ago... my suggestion went ignored.
