Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

With my 7100t when it rang and I pulled it out of its holster I got the option to not answer and forward the call to VM. This doesn't happen with my 8700 and I can't find the option to enable it. I've searched phone options and general options. Any pointers would be appreciated. =NLK=

No enabling necessary. The red hangup key gives you the option to Ignore and that will send your call to voicemail.

Thanks for the post. But now I'm REALLY confused.

I just tested my phone at home and got the same "Answer-Ignore" choice I used to get on my 7100t. It happened both with the phone out-of-holster and in-holster.

The two times I DIDN'T get this choice I was in the car and pulled the phone rather hurriedly out of the holster. Maybe I hit a wrong key. Who knows?

At least I now know that the phone is supposed to work like that and there is no option to enable/disable it.

Again, thanks.

If you hit the wrong key or bump the wheel just-so while unholstering you can end up answering a call. I've done this before myself.
