Hi,
I just bought the Plantronics Voyager 510 because a local store had it, and I had had my eyes on the M3000 already, so I figured it would probably be good.
Well, I like how light and comfortable it is, and I love that it is amazingly loud - at least when calling my wife's cell phone which tends to be pretty loud, but I am NOT cranked up all the way like I usually am
Problem:
The headset has a Call Control button which theoretically answers calls or ends them and does other things. I have not gotten anything to work with this button.
Also, the Blackberry (I have had it for just a few days and am still a newbie although I read tons of good stuff in this forum!) won't answer calls with the Phone button on top which doesn't make sense to me - what else is this button for other than opening the Phone screen and muting?
So is this a 510 problem or is the Bluetooth compatibility of the 7250 not good enough?
Any thoughts?
I like the headset, but if I can't answer phones without trying to rip the BB out of the holster (I also gotta figure out how it stays in there - magnet?), then I'll have to return it and find something else that is more compatible.
Thanks!
