Ive just bought my blackberry bold 9700 today

Love it to bits its just the internet problem everyone has.

I can connect when i am on the Wi-Fi but cant connect through Orange UK or GPRS.

I cannot accept or send invites on my BBM either and i cant make an email.

Knowing me im missing something.

If someone could help me that would be great. I would love to get my BB up and going to its full potential.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan, not a generic data plan?

Also, on your profile, please edit the carrier field to say "Orange UK".

Sorry i dont know what the BB data plan is.

I bought it on contract and it should give me 4 hours a month of surfing the web

You need Blackberry Internet Service.
This is £5 extra a month.

A generic data [4 hours of surfing for a month] will not work on a blackberry.

Call Orange.
