Default My Facebook App!!!

Please Login to Remove!

I accidently deleted my Facebook app Shortcut on the home menu. It still shows in my application but I cannot access it. Is there any way for me to get it back or do I have to download the app again?

battery pull may refresh your icons. otherwise delete from applications and reinstall.
ps. i didnt know you can delete icons... you may have hidden the icon. hit menu / show all to see if its hidden.

why don't you just delete it and redownload it. That's what I had to do to get mine to work when I upgraded.

Default First time facebook

My appologies in advance for the newbee question but I just got a new 8830 at work and Facebook was an option I did not have with my previous BB. I activated it when I got my BB and now I can't seem to close the application. Does it always stay active? It it always connected? When I go to the application it seem to have only 7 options on the toolbar.

Pull out the battery. That should work. When ur phone comes back on, it should be hiden. So what your gonna have reload it, cus ur only gonna have the icon. Then jst take it from there. I've erased my many times. I've been trying to get rid of it since I don't use mine. But it keeps coming back..

The simple solution is to go to the mobile at m.facebook.com from your browser. scroll to the bottom and click on the Donwnload link for the facebook app for blackberry. It is going to ask you if you want to replace the one already on the phone just click yes and it will reinstall and you will have your icon back.

depress the menu button located to the right of the send button and scroll down to close. if you want to log off you need to scroll to options and then select log off.

Yes, its always active, unless you logoff. It really just takes your incoming email notifications and interprets them in the Facebook application. That is why you have to have the same email address on your Blackberry that you receive Facebook notification on. It's really a very limited application and if you've ever seen the Facebook application for the iphone, you would think the BB version is a joke and it really is.
