It sounds like you have encryption enabled on your media card.

Options > Media Card > Encryption Mode, change to none.

Moving to Media Center section.

A search for the term ".rem" turns up this thread.

I have encryption turned off, also I can't seem to let it disable my password on my device...

I tried renaming the pictures, it just deletes them on me or makes it .file after...:-S Now I am getting a file system error when I try to rename the picture through Media > Explore ..

Seriously does anybody know how I can bypass this password junk? I never had this happen before, and I don't know why I can't disable it...:-S

When you look at the option does it have a padlock next to it? this would signify an IT policy

Yes it did, it had a tiny red padlock looking thing right by where the word "enabled" is... I had to wipe my phone to get rid of it...

What is a IT policy? I don't know...and how would it have gotten on my phone?

Also now when I enter my MediaCard is says the Media Card has Encryption on it, and that I won't be able to access the files...but I still can...I don't understand it..
