For those keeping score, 4.5.0.44 is now the latest for GSM device; 4.5.0.43 for CDMA devices (and 4.6.0.65 for the Bold).

Connection issues were fixed but at the expense of battery life. Its horrible in .42 (8320.) Yes, I'd say we are getting very close to release.

I have not had battery issues or connection issues. I plug up my berry every were i go, Office, Home, And car so that maybe the reason i dont see battery issues. As for connection problems i have not noticed anything. As soon as i hit my garage UMA pops up and its a smooth transition.

Yep, as I said, connections are great now in .42. But battery life took a huge hit.

I think the connection issues for the 8310 were actually broken since 4.5.0.37, to be perfectly honest. I've lost connectivity to GSM and SOS a number of times. 4.5.0.37 was the most stable release thus far (aside from your 8320's UMA issues).

I haven't had even one glitch in connections with .42 on the TMo 8320. It's been rock solid since I loaded it.

Memory leak with .37 has been fixed by removing all 3rd party apps except Google offerings and Viigo.

Hopefully the software companies will figure things out and issue some updates soon

John - you ARE having the same issue we (other Curve users with T-Mobile at 4.5.0.42) are having re: missed calls indicator and message waiting indicator, aren't you? If not, I'd love to know why...

I'm hoping 4.5.0.44 fixes these two issues...and if so, I'm hoping to locate it soon and try it out.

Would also love to be able to try the Surreal theme again without having it lock up my Curve!

Wait I was told else where in this forum that the cdma versions haven't even leaked. How do we know the version numbers? I just wish they'd release it already so we can all stop crying(includes me lol)

Only issue I had with .42 was a memory leak, but I cleared the cache for ThinkMicro and the leak is all but gone.
Oh, and Youtube works sporadically... sometimes I'll get a "Please verify that the web address is correct" error. Seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when I get the error though.

I just upgraded to .42 yesterday and so far so good. Haven't really gotten many calls so of course no messages so I haven't really gotten to test out the issue with missed calls and no vm indication. But so far I'm nt regreting that I upgraded.
