Finally got the 8320. I was going to buy it 2 weeks ago with TMO, but it turned out my contract with ATT isn't over 4 months. So I had a friend that had an 8320 then got the 8310 on ATT and was doing nothing with the 8320. So I took it and unlocked it.
Now my question is that when I connect it to the Destop Manager it comes up: "The BlackBerry Desktop Software does not have BlackBerry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the compuer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator".
I am figuring this is because no device software is showing up. Now do I install device software for the 8320 from TMO or download device software for the 8300 or 8310 from ATT. I would think I want the 8320 software, but I cannot get into TMO to download since it asks for a TMO phone # - which mine is not.
Also, is there any other software issues that will arise when having the unlocked version on another carrier?
My destop manager is coming up v4.2.2.14 and on the 8320 v4.2.2.171
