My daughter had a 9900 today, when we put the sim in everything worked except the touchscreen . When we took the sim out it worked fine. Then we put the sim back in and same the touchscreen didn't work,so we took it out again and now it doesn't work with or without the sim.HELP
I don't see how the SIM could prevent the touchscreen from functioning properly. Is the device new? Did you buy it used? Still under warranty? If the device is new (or bought previously owned) then the problem may have existed before you purchased it.

Pull the battery and wait for a couple of minutes and reinsert it. when fully loaded see if that helps.
If this continues and the device is new, return it for a replacement.
The other option is to reload the software. do a search on this site for instructions and location for software.
If you do decide to reload make sure it is the OS for the phone and you follow ALL directions and take your time.
Unless the screen is defective try the settings first.
