Default Pocketmac and categories for notes??

Please Login to Remove!

Brand new to BB, just got a 7100 (upgraded to software v4). Running Entourage 2004 with 400 notes/memos categories.

Have demo version of pocketmac which syncs fine. BUT, categories don't sync to my BB.

I thought with Entourage and version 4 for phone, I'd be all set.

Any thoughts?

PocketMac uses Version 3.7 synchronization.
I think PocketMac has not yet upgraded to Version 4.0 synchronization yet.

Can you contact the PocketMac people about this, to ask them when they will be releasing the Version 4.0 compatible version of PocketMac with categories sync?

Mark;

Thanks for the reply. I already sent email to pocketmac people.

So even though my BB can do categories, pocketmac sounds like they haven't caught up yet.

This might mean returning my BB and just getting a regular phone.

Too bad, I was just starting to get the hang of this BB.

BTW;

Is there any other program out there that will sync up with my Mac and that works (with categories too)? I thought I heard rumors about another, but it was at $139?

I think you are referring to Epicad. However, that solution is only for BES users, it is an additional software running on top of BES. There is a personal solution by Epicad in progress, though. Well, we just have wait.

Check them out at www.epicad.com
