Default Unlock codes for 7230?

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought an ancient 7230 from Ebay locked to Vodafone. I bought it out of curiosity since I have a Treo 500! Pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use. However, I'm not paying for unlock codes on an old second hand phone. Any ideas where I can get the software to create the correct unlock code? Otherwise it will be consigned to a desk draw as a curiosity item! Could use it as a phone dekpad I suppose!!

You can't get the software, not available.

You can purchase from one of the unlocking vendors... we have several reputable vendors that many of us have purchased from, listed here:

An unlock will cost you, no question. They're not that expensive to unlock, though. As mentioned above, there is no software.

thanks guys,

I think I'll sell it on. I was going to use it as a Desktop notepad with my Fresh mobile card for texting (great keyboard).

It's really not worth spending more than a few pounds on an old phone.

Great phone but really poor backlight.
