Default Help

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB 8310 and the battery died yesterday. I've had it recharging all night and all I see is the hour glass. I am unable to do anything with it. I remove and replace the battery and still the same.

Did you drop it? Did you get it wet? Did you load a new App? If none of this then try a new battery or try one at the carrier store to see if it works. If so you can buy one.
You can always reload the OS if all else fails as a last try.

Wirelessly posted

Also try leaving the battery out of the device for about an hour and then give it a try again.

An hour?? What exactly would that accomplish that leaving it out for a minute wouldn't?

Sometimes electronics can hold a charge but the BB has never been one of those that do for very long. I would suggest a couple of minutes should totally insure a full reset.
