Not unless the Blackberry GPS API supports those automatically (which I don't think is the case.) I don't have a puck so I can't really test or develop to this scenario; does anyone have pointers to the relevant documentation?

I do not see the GPS from the location drop down at the top right of the search screen.

I am on 8800, Cingular BIS using Default Connection.

EDIT: I see it now

Phil,

I downloaded the most recent version of Beyond411 and set up my puck under the GPS setting under Options->Advanced Options->GPS. When I start BlackBerry Maps, and Start GPS, it shows me exactly where I am (Houma, LA). But, when I shut that down and search for the hotel I am staying at, via Beyond411, it thinks I am in Belle Chasse, LA (about 70 miles away from my current location). Otherwise, I have had no problems with the software on my 8700g.

Any thoughts?

I have used Berry411 and now Beyond411 for the past couple years, a great app and phil is a genius. I have a Pearl and just upgaded not even knowing it had GPS now included and was going to look something up and selected the drop down to switch from Work to Home and noticed "GPS". I saw this and got so excited, I whipped it out (my GPS puck that is) turned it on, 5 seconds later acquired satellites and hit "Yellow Pages (GPS)" and 3 seconds later got a laundry list of retailers right down the street from me!!!!

So yes, this revision works perfectly with a puck and faster than any other application I have seen!! Phil is a genius and we should all bow to his greatness.

BTW, my config is BB8100, 4.2.1.96, Blackberry Maps installed OTA and had to manually delete the lbs_internal module because it interferes with the GPS functionality. For some reason the OTA of BBMaps installs the lbs_internal module even on devices with no internal GPS system.

I took that out because I thought it simplified the menus, cut and paste isn't something I use. Show of hands, is cut and paste something that people use frequently?

Same here... not so much for copying data out of B411 but definitely for pasting info into it for the plugins.

I just ran into this myself and it was a big bummer not having paste. I'm convinced, I'll add it back.

UPDATE: Added it back in 4.20.4, available from the usual location.
