Default caller id names while handheld is locked

Please Login to Remove!

I have a work mandated security setting on my blackberry that locks my blackberry after 30 minutes of no activity. I found the setting that allows me to place calls while the blackberry is locked, however if I receive a call while it is locked it does not show the caller id name from my address book or use the special rington assigned. Is there a setting that will allow incoming calls to show names and use the special ringtone?

This is a by-product of Content Protection. You have two options, most likely. If content protection is not enforced, then you can turn it off. If it is enforced, then you can disable it for the Address Book (as of OS 4.2).

Go to Options > Security Options > General Settings. For the first option, you'll change Content Protection to 'Disabled'. If they enforce the protection, then you can look beneath that and change Include Address Book to 'No'. If they are on BES 4.1.2, they could choose to override that option and force it to encrypt the Address Book as well. If that is the case, I'd just go talk to them.

Default BES Config??

Is there a setting on the BES that will exclude the Address Book from content protection? I can't seem to find any security policy that does that. Most of our users are using 7290's with 4.0.X software.
