Hi! Hm...I know that this may not be a "BOLD" problem but I'm confused as to why I cannot send any msgs on Messenger... I have no problem logging in, receiving messages from my contacts etc...but whenever I try to send a message, it says there is a problem with the server and I should try again

Atleast you can get it installed, when I try OTA it says my device doesn't meet the requirements

Hahaha well Messenger is no use when you can't send any msgs...so it's in a way like not having it at all

BLAH! I just tried going on messenger in the office right now, hoping that it would work (since youtube seems to like my work environment more than my home)...but nope, still no luck! :(

I am having the exact same problem as you. I cannot figure it out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the MSN client on my BlackBerry several times. I have upgraded my software on my Bold from 4.6.0.92 to 4.6.0.112 to 4.6.0.126 and the problem still exists. I have been experiencing this issue for about two to three weeks now.

Doesn't MSN on the BB use a server that the carrier hosts? Could the server be having the issues?

I am having this issue as well. I can install and log in to MSN messenger on my Pearl 8110. And i can receive message but i can't send any messages to my contacts or reply!, Error says; "Your message could not be sent (error: there is a problem with the server. Please try again later.)"

Is there anyone else having this issue. Maybe there is an issue with the server or is it something wrong setup on my BB.
thanks

My friend who has a Pearl says she is also having the same problem lately. She used to be able to use MSN messenger no problem, but like us, she is getting that problem-with-server message for the past few weeks...so I dunno~

It is intermittent. I have had success but mostly failure with Windows Live Messenger on the Bold. I only installed it once.

I've been having issues with it today on my 8830. it may not be a device specific issue, but a network issue.

Go to options -> advanced -> service book

Delete ALL the WLM service books.

Go to options -> advanced -> host routing table.

Do a register now from the menu and the service books will download again.

This fixed it for me.

This has been going on for weeks though. I've noticed it on all of my devices. Reinstalling WLM application will not help. It's a SB/Connection issue.

Hope this helps. It seems to do it more if you are on a WiFi connection as well.

I don't think it is a device nor a network problem. I think it's a problem with the Live Msgr service. Well, I don't know.

I like the application so I have it installed, but many times I need to connect to MSN via my MIG33 programs that never fail.

I think I will use MIG33 for now.
