Default T-Mobile 9900, No UMA?

Please Login to Remove!

I just picked up a 9900 and now on a flight heading overseas. Is it possible they didn't enable UMA on this phone? The manager told me it had it but I can't seems to get it up and running. Any idea? Thanks!

Or it might not like the GoGo wifi on this flight.

Software upgrade "soon" to address this. No UMA out of the box.
No, I don't know when soon is.

Ok, thanks! Soon is much better than "No"! Maybe by the time I land in Thailand.......

I should be getting my 9900 next week. We'll see how "soon" the update is.

You could always buy the phone. Complain about service. Threaten to return the phone and cancel service. Be offered a free T-Mobile signal booster. Enjoy your non-UMA enabled phone.

I remember when the 9700 came out, I had UMA for maybe 2 weeks before Rogers turned it off.. It was nice while it lasted.
